Starting Out

The majority of people we meet have never used an architect; are nervous about spending money and seeing no return; or that the architect might get ‘carried away’ and design something you can’t afford or worse didn’t actually want; and which can’t get planning permission any way. 

At Kemp Architecture we understand this and offer services at the pace you want. Your project will be unique and therefore our service needs to be bespoke and will be tailored to individual needs. So, if you are unsure about how to proceed, we can offer ‘pay as you go’ arrangements with small set services. If you need to just discuss a few initial ideas, perhaps with a couple of sketches, we can accommodate this.

If you wish to proceed, we can then explore those ideas further together looking at more tangible issues such as planning. (A pre application is a great way to discuss and to get the written views of the planning authority without expensive alterations later on). Plus further technical integration of materials and elements of sustainable design.
